Every life and every love story deserves to be honoured in a way that feels personal and true. I am passionate about people, a great listener and an experienced communicator. I bring a calm, confident and compassionate presence to every ceremony, along with the flexibility to meet people where they are.
I have lived in Saskatchewan my entire life. My husband Larry and I have been married for 48 years, and together we have three children—Kris, Michelle and Pamela—and seven wonderful grandchildren who mean everything to me. In my spare time, I enjoy sewing, crocheting, reading, walking and travelling.
Before beginning this chapter, I spent 28 years in municipal administration and 13 years establishing and managing a medical clinic. I have also served Saskatchewan 4-H as a leader for more than three decades and have served on many local boards and committees, always taking an active role in my community. These experiences have taught me to listen carefully, communicate clearly and treat every person with genuine respect.

I have been an officially appointed Saskatchewan Marriage Commissioner since 2018 and am authorized to perform civil marriage ceremonies. I create a warm, meaningful ceremony that reflects your relationship while incorporating the wording and requirements necessary for a legal marriage.

Marriage commissioners perform civil ceremonies, so religious references cannot be included in the ceremony.

Getting your Saskatchewan marriage licence.
Couples are responsible for obtaining a valid Saskatchewan marriage licence before the ceremony. The process is straightforward, but timing and identification requirements are important.
Plan the timing
Purchase it between one day and 90 days before the wedding. It takes effect the day after purchase and expires after 90 days.
Bring identification
Present two pieces of government-issued identification, including at least one piece of photo identification.
Complete the declaration
Both partners complete and sign the statutory declaration in the presence of the licence issuer. The provincial licence fee is $60.
Provide prior-marriage details
If divorced, bring the required original or court-certified divorce document. If widowed, know the exact date and place of your former spouse’s death.

A Funeral Celebrant is trained to create and lead personalized funeral and memorial services with care, sensitivity and respect. I work closely with your family to understand the person being remembered and thoughtfully bring their stories, values and personality into the service.
A family-centred choice
For families who want a personal ceremony without a formal religious service, a Funeral Celebrant offers a neutral and respectful approach. My role is to listen, honour your wishes and help create a meaningful farewell that feels true to your loved one.

If you are thinking about your own end-of-life arrangements, I can meet with you to discuss your wishes, the stories you want shared and the kind of service that would feel right for you. I will come to you—whether you are at home, in hospital or in hospice—so these important conversations can happen with comfort, privacy and care.
